The Marine Industry
The marine industry covers a diverse range of activities supporting ship and boat building, repair & refurbishment, rig construction and port & waterways maintenance.
Equipment and infrastructure operating in these harsh environments that are extremely corrosive require A4 316 grades for their ability to withstand sea salt spray and brackish conditions.
Where strength is a priority A4-80 and A4-109 should be used offering High tensile values of 800 N/mm2 & 1090 N/mm2.
